Wow, A beautiful thick scarf. I love this tweed pattern. And it does not look over complicated. A variety of yarns would work with this. Even a double yarn possible.

Learn to darn socks, why not?
I love knitting as any of you that read my posts know. But I haven’t always loved darning socks. Why learn to darn socks? Because it is part of knitting. If I am going to put all the effort and energy into knitting them, then by golly, I’ll darn them too. And after I learned to darn socks. It turns out I love it. It is almost worth getting the holes.
